Alblasserwaard Windmill Route. Enjoy the beautiful windmills of Kinderdijk. These mills were built to pump up the water from the polders. A total of 19 mills pump up the water in two steps. You can see exactly how that works at Museummolen Nederwaard and Museummolen Blokweer. Both can be found on the Kinderdijk.
