The beautiful Vecht valley

Announced by the wind with a soft whistle, they entice passersby to come closer. Almost hypnotized by the beautiful, dancing white wisps, they have made unsuspecting citizens get lost. Of course, the White Wolves are just a fable, but that does not make the misty phenomenon in the Vecht valley any less beautiful! For several decades, Hardenberg and the surrounding area has developed into a serious, tourist attraction, and it's not just because of the amusement park Slagharen. Primeval forests, ice cellars, moors, fens, sand drifts, river beds and lakes make the area a feast for the senses.
