De Barneveldse Beek slingert zich als een rustige, smalle waterloop door het open landschap tussen Barneveld en Leusden. Ooit gegraven voor de afwatering van het drassige veengebied, vormt de beek vandaag de dag een belangrijk element in het karakter van de streek. Langs de beek ervaar je stilte en ruimte. De oevers zijn rijk aan flora, en met een beetje geluk zie je waterhoentjes, reigers of libellen langs het water schieten.
