Dwingelerstroom

De Dwingelerstroom slingert rustig door het landschap ten zuiden van het Nationaal Park Dwingelderveld. Deze beek is een van de weinige plekken waar het water nog vrij zijn weg mag zoeken, met kronkelende oevers, bloemrijke graslanden en rietzones vol vogels. Fiets of wandel je hier langs, dan ervaar je de overgang van heide naar beekdalnatuur en zie je hoe het waterpeil wordt hersteld om het gebied weer natuurlijker te maken. Vooral in de ochtend of bij laag zonlicht is het een prachtig, stil stuk Drents landschap.
