Gemaal Lovink

Gemaal Lovink is een belangrijk onderdeel van de waterhuishouding in de provincie Flevoland. Het is vernoemd naar ingenieur Lovink, die een belangrijke rol speelde bij de inpoldering van Flevoland. Dit gemaal zorgt voor de afvoer van overtollig water uit dit gebied, waardoor het land droog blijft en bewoonbaar is! Het water wordt naar het Veluwemeer gepompt.
In de kopgevel van het bebouw is een keramisch reliëf te zien met de naam "land en water". Het laat een landbouwer zien en een visser die elkaar over de dijk heen de hand reiken.
