Rietveld Schröderhuis

Het Rietveld Schröderhuis is een voorbeeld van de architectonische stroming De Stijl. Het huis werd in 1924 ontworpen door de Nederlandse architect Gerrit Rietveld in opdracht van mevrouw Truus Schröder-Schräder. Wat dit huis bijzonder maakt is het gebruik van rechte lijnen, primaire kleuren en asymmetrische vormen, kenmerkend voor de principes van De Stijl. Het Rietveld Schröderhuis is erkend als UNESCO werelderfgoed en wordt beschouwd als een meesterwerk van modernistische architectuur. Het huis is open voor publiek en biedt bezoekers een unieke kans om de visie van Rietveld op ruimte, licht en kleur te ervaren.
