Around Enschede - Losser

Just outside the center of Enschede, the bicycle route through this eastern part of Twente starts. It goes through the center of Enschede. As you leave the city, you ride into an oasis of tranquility. From rustic wooded banks to gurgling streams and from vast forests to fertile fields, you will see it all here. The landscape shows a region where man does not detract from nature, but rather cooperates with it wisely. After a nice stretch of cycling through the beautiful greenery, the village of Losser comes into sight. The historical part of Losser has been preserved. Cultural-historical heritage are the brick factory de Werklust, the Staringgroeve and the historic Erve Kraesgenberg. The streets have a cozy atmosphere and it is enjoyable to sit on a terrace. After the built-up area it goes back into the countryside. You are treated to vistas and stretches of forest and quiet roads with the occasional tractor.
