From Galder to Belgium and through Breda along the lakes

A cycling tour in North Brabant that your taste buds are sure to appreciate.
A route for your eyes and taste buds has been laid out from Galder. Already around the 10th century there must have been a settlement on the present site of Galder. The Saint James Chapel dates from the 15th century. Around the corner is the border with Belgium. Here, in Meersel-dreef, you can visit the priest's garden and drive past the Capuchin monastery with the Marian grotto and the beautiful Marian park. The route continues back into the Dutch countryside. At a real beer brewery you can sample some beer. Both men and women are catered for here. Continuing cycling you can relax in the tranquility of nature before reaching the city of Breda. There is so much to see here that you must be careful not to lose sight of the route. After a terrace and some culture the route continues through beautiful Brabant. There is peace and quiet and you will experience the space. You drive along waterways, trees and farmlands. The Galderse lakes were created by sand extraction. There is a large and a small lake. Here you can take a dip in the recreational area. A bicycle route you will enjoy until the last stretch.
