Piece of Frisian Elfstedentocht by bike

The town of Damwoude is now officially called Damwald in Frisian. Also all street names are in Frisian nowadays. But you have probably already seen that. You cycle through green Friesland to Dokkum. Dokkum is a well-known place because it is one of the eleven Frisian cities from the Elfstedentocht. But Dokkum is also on the list internationally. In 754 Bonifatius was killed near Dokkum.
