Tour of West Brabant from polders to historic villages

This varied bicycle route through West Brabant takes you past vast polders, quaint village centers and green avenues. Soon you come upon quiet country roads that lead you through the outlying area, where you pass the small river Mark and cross the friendly village of Zevenbergen. Not much further lies Standaardbuiten, after which you cycle towards Oudenbosch, known for its impressive basilica and rich history. The tour continues through rural areas and forest edges towards Etten-Leur, where you can pause on a terrace or stroll around the old center. The atmosphere is friendly and typically Brabant. Further south, the route takes you towards Zundert, where the landscape becomes more open and the influence of Van Gogh can be felt. You pass orchards, small streams and stately farms. On the way back you cycle through forests and quiet paths with beautiful views over the West Brabant countryside.
