De Posbank ligt in Nationaal Park Veluwezoom. Vaak kleurt de heide in augustus indrukwekkend mooi paars. Het uitzicht is vooral in combinatie met de panoramische uitzichten betoverend mooi.Het hoogste punt in dit gebied is ongeveer 90 meter boven zeeniveau.
