A bicycle route along the straight lots around Nijbroek

From Nijbroek it heads west. Characteristic of this area are the perpendicular main directions of reclamation bases such as roads and lots. Especially in the south of Nijbroek you can see a very regular parceling of land. Characteristic are the strokes (distances) of 60 by 2250 meters. You can see that these allotments and the roads more or less form a grid. Near Vaassen you can deviate for a moment to visit Castle Cannenburch, open from April to October. By appointment there is a glassworks just outside Vaassen which is also fun for children. The last stretch you drive along the river IJssel. You will be treated to stunning views of meadows with cows or sheep, the IJssel meandering in between, combined with the bustle of entrepreneurs and residents. At Terwolde you will leave the IJssel behind you and you can enjoy the cycling route at the campsite.
