A route through Doesburg and Zutphen

Cycling through natural areas and past art.
Starting at Steenderen you cycle between the Veluwe and the Achterhoek towards Doesburg. Along the river IJssel, which turns into the Zwarte Schaar around the corner, you enter Doesburg with its museums and terraces. Through the city center you will head towards the National Park Veluwezoom. Along this beautiful nature reserve you will drive to Brummel. You can enjoy the tranquility to end up in the beautiful town of Zutphen. The road continues along the sand excavations, now recreation area Bronsbergermeer. Here you can swim. When you enter Bronckhorst, the smallest town in the Netherlands, imagine yourself in the 16th/17th century. Following the road you will cycle past the Bronkhorst windmill. This is a corn mill from 1844 which is still in operation. At the final destination you can relax after a cycling tour during which you were able to experience nature, art and culture.
