Bicycle route rolling embankment and polder landscape

This varied bicycle route takes you through the varied landscape of West Brabant, with its rolling Brabantse Wal, vast polders, atmospheric villages and wooded strips. You start in the area of Wouw, known for its old village center and cozy terraces, and cycle north through Heerle and Moerstraten towards the open countryside. In the western part of the route you pass Halsteren and Hoogerheide, where you feel the transition to the Brabantse Wal: an elevation in the landscape with forests, streams and viewpoints. Through the woods of Landgoed Mattemburgh and the green areas south of Bergen op Zoom you return south. Along the way there are plenty of places to stop, such as catering establishments in Wouw and Halsteren, or viewpoints in the woods.
