Bicycle route through the Achterhoek and border area near Dinxperlo

This versatile bicycle route takes you through the beautiful coulisse landscape of the Achterhoek and along the German-Dutch border at Dinxperlo and Suderwick. You cycle along winding roads through green meadows, atmospheric villages such as De Heurne, Breedenbroek and Groot Breedenbroek, and past historic border crossings. A special point on the route is Dinxperlo, where the border with Germany is barely visible and the village flows directly into German Suderwick. Here you can literally stand with one foot in the Netherlands and the other in Germany. Along the route you pass old farms, forests and small streams, which make the Achterhoek so unique.
