Cycling tour of the Utrecht Hill Ridge

From the hotel you will drive in the direction of Woudenberg. According to the locals, it lies exactly in the middle of the Netherlands. This area is more than worth a bicycle tour as you drive through the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. During your bike ride, you will experience an oasis of tranquility as well as amazement at culture and the picturesque villages. You will ride past the town of Austerlitz. Here stands the Pyramid of Austerlitz. This was built in 1804 by soldiers of Napoleon to counteract the autumn molt. It is a 36 meter high pyramid made of earth, and now one of the highest points of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Through forests and over hills it continues to Doorn. Here stands museum Huis Doorn. A castle that has a park in English landscape style. The castle is famous thanks to the German former Emperor Wilhelm II who lived there, from which all the splendor can still be seen. Through forest and small villages continues until you pass the highway. The view becomes more expansive and the cows are in the meadows. You approach the hotel to enjoy all the beautiful impressions you have received.
