On this route you will find it all you can expect from a bicycle tour: A beautiful collection of architectural buildings and a beautiful natural area. The Veluwezoom National Park provides cyclists with a beautiful piece of Gelderland. The area is full of birch trees and oak trees. In the dense forestation you will find chestnut trees, blueberries and foxberries, among other things. Great for picking and harvesting in late summer and autumn! For the animal lover, there is certainly plenty to see on the bike. All sorts of things live along this route. Deer, roe deer, wild boar, foxes, ermines, badgers and the pine marten. Rare birds and reptiles such as the kingfisher, the tree falcon, vipers, ring snakes and lizards can also be seen here. Take a look at the Carolina Mountain near Dieren. This royal hunting ground was once a place for princes to carry out their hunting hobby. In addition, the area is full of castles, mansions, manors and monumental properties. Brummen, for example, is full of country houses. Not to mention the House Baak in Baak. So it is clear that for centuries people of nobility have loved to stay in this beautiful natural area.
